How to unlock your phone with the Device Unlock App

1) For devices locked to Metro PCS, you must pay on time your first 6 months monthly payment & only after 6 months have passed may you be eligible to request an unlock.

2) For devices locked to T-Mobile, you can request what is called a "Temporary Unlock", which upon approval, will temporarily unlock your device for your travel & your device will relock once their temporary period is over.

How does it work?

If you see a message displaying "Unlock Failed: This mobile device is not eligible for unlock", this means your device qualifies to be unlocked with us.

If you see the message "Connection Error" or "Server not responding", this means the device is not eligible to be unlocked & should not be ordered at all.

If you have placed an order with us & you have received our email confirming the device is now unlocked, please do the steps below:

1) In order to unlock your device you will need to connect your phone to WiFi

2) Navigate on your phone's apps to find the "Device Unlock" Application & click on it

3) Once the application is clicked, be sure to click the "Permanent Unlock".

What can I do if my phone says "Connection Error" or "Server Not Responding"?

This is a very common error, however, to fix this issue you will need to take your device to your device's carrier respectively as this error seems to be a factory based error & have them swap your device with one that is working properly. Alternatively, if your device is supported to be remotely unlocked you can choose to unlock your device remotely.

What if I can't find the Device Unlock Application on my phone?
We suggest going to Settings > Apps (Application Manager), then search for the Device Unlock application & click on it. Once clicked please make sure it is enabled & with that you should see it within your apps.

What if I was on time with my payments with Metro PCS for 6 Months & my phone isn't unlocking?
